Meet the team

After more than a decade as a leader in healthcare payment systems, Sach grew increasingly disillusioned with the broken “fee-for-service” model, which led him to found Carrum Health in 2014.

Sach is a recognized industry expert in the value-based care space. Prior to Carrum, he served as a leader in value-based care at Booz & Company (now Strategy&) and Accretive Health (now R1). A computer scientist and engineer by training, Sach was also a founding member of Muvee Technologies, an AI video-editing company, which grew to more than 100 employees.

Sach’s technology background, deep healthcare expertise, and passion for fixing a broken healthcare industry are the driving forces behind Carrum’s mission to transform the way we deliver and pay for care.

He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

As a co-founder, Brent has operationalized nearly every aspect of the company—from first employer to first Center of Excellence to first patient. Prior to Carrum, Brent was a consultant with Booz & Company and Accenture, where he led transformation initiatives for several large healthcare payers and providers. He leverages deep experience in bundled payment administration to continuously make Carrum’s solution more effective and easier to adopt.

Brent holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Southern California.

Christoph leads the supply side of Carrum Health’s marketplace, including bundle design, quality evaluation, Centers of Excellence identification and contracting, and provider account management. He spent the first part of his career as a consultant with Booz & Company, working closely with payers, providers, and healthcare companies.

Christoph holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a master’s in computer science from the University of Waterloo and Frankfurt University.

As the Chief Product Officer, Pallav leads the Technology teams (engineering, data, product management and design) and Member Experience teams (care management and engagement marketing).

His digital health experience spans two decades and multiple positions across hospital systems, insurers, and technology vendors. Prior to Carrum, Pallav served as healthcare industry leader at Google Cloud for two years before joining X, the R&D arm of Alphabet.

Pallav holds an MBA from Northwestern University, a master’s degree in medical informatics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s in medicine and surgery from Delhi University. His book Before Disrupting Healthcare was published in June 2016.

Wes leads the engineering team at Carrum Health, defining how the company’s Centers of Excellence (COE) programs and care can be brought online and delivered virtually. Together, Wes’s team built the industry’s first-ever COE app. Wes has more than 20 years of experience scaling engineering teams at companies like GoPro, ModCloth, and VerticalResponse.

He earned his master’s degree in physics from Kansas State University and his bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Miami University.

Jess is Carrum’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for spearheading strategic and corporate finance, and overseeing accounting and revenue cycle management. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior financial executive that spans healthcare, SaaS, credit investing, and corporate advisory.

Jess most recently spent over 5 years as the CFO and EVP of Finance scaling digital healthcare staffing company Nomad Health. Prior to that he was the Head of Finance and Operations at Gust, a founder SaaS platform. He began his career at PwC.

Compagnola has an MBA from Columbia Business School and bachelor’s from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
