Health benefits industry leader spent decades leading divisions of Aon, Cigna and Towers Perrin

SAN FRANCISCO – Jan 9, 2024 – Carrum Health today announced the appointment of Dave Guilmette to its Corporate Advisory Board. A veteran health benefits industry leader who led Aon’s Global Health Solutions and Cigna’s Global Employer Segment, Guilmette brings 40+ years of healthcare experience building businesses and driving sustainable growth. He will offer his expertise to Carrum Health as the company scales up its reach and market penetration, as more employers shift to the Centers of Excellence care model.

Guilmette has a long track record of driving positive fundamental change with strategic vision which aligns well with Carrum Health’s mission to disrupt healthcare and change how complex care is paid for and delivered.

“Dave brings invaluable expertise as a seasoned health benefits industry leader who understands what it takes to change the health industry status quo from fee-for-service to value-based Centers of Excellence,” said Sach Jain, Carrum CEO and founder. “Dave will be a tremendous asset to our advisory board as we continue to build on our growth trajectory and scale our offering in surgical and cancer care, so employers nationwide benefit from our cost savings while employees experience improved health outcomes.”

Guilmette serves as strategic advisor to Aon as he transitions from his CEO role and will guide the consulting firm on innovations, large-scale solution development and commercial partnerships. While at Aon and Cigna, he implemented successful strategies to accelerate revenue growth and grow the membership base.

“Patients should expect and receive the best care possible without it becoming a financial burden on them and their families,” said Guilmette. “They need a healthcare system that serves them in their time of need, not one that overwhelms them with a bewildering array of complexity and surprise bills. Carrum Health treats patients with white gloves and helps navigate their health journey so it’s smooth, while ensuring employers see value for every benefit dollar they spend. I’m honored to join Carrum’s corporate advisory board and offer my expertise to a mission-driven team that is changing healthcare and improving patient experience.”

Carrum Health will benefit from Guilmette’s extensive experience combined with his drive to challenge and change healthcare for the better.
