Job Description

The Head of Marketing drives the overall B2C and B2B marketing agenda and roadmap for Carrum. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, drive consumer utilization of our product, and support lead generation efforts. You will set current and long-term goals for the marketing team and set the budget. With the support of a Digital Consumer Marketing Director, your responsibility covers all digital and analog marketing channels. You understand marketing, digital and social trends to develop and deliver on cutting-edge health care marketing capabilities. You will partner with our Customer Success team to further our digital vision, strategy and presence.

Your Impact

  • Develop Carrum’s go-to-market strategy to build the first of its kind bundled payment network
  • Autonomously identify, engage, scope, and execute provider acquisition opportunities
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives
  • Track competitors’ activities
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure effective messaging of Carrum’s value proposition and product features to our membership

You Will Be Successful If You Have

  • 10+ years proven work experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, ideally in the healthcare industry; 5+ years as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior leadership role
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Experience handling aggressive deadlines, keeping many balls in the air and
  • prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive solution orientation, not afraid of ambiguity, ability to innovate, think outside the box, and solve problems creatively and strategically
  • Passionate about Carrum Health’s mission to make healthcare more affordable and consumer-centric

You Will Excel If You Have

  • MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field of study: Health Care Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools
  • Excitement for use and excellent command of the written language
